You may be grateful for the many things
kind elders taught you,
you may wish you had wise elders
where you had none
But if you’ve ridden on strong shoulders
or floundered on your own,
you still will meet a challenge
that you face alone
And this is where you’ll learn
to tap the infinite,
this is your moment
to take off and fly.
Everyone must do it,
so we all can –
it is the one, the first and final,
empowerment of man.

These patterns – shards from a broken dome,
sharp edges of shattered expectations,
point to places ripe for change
This problem was never
as contiguous as I thought,
and my habitual reaction
is not the only way to be
I reconsider –
no need to be soft and cut and sobbing,
no need to bleed, waiting to be saved,
that which can shatter
has never been the truth,
that which is helpless
has never actually been me.

You can’t touch the day
without being touched back,
you can’t touch the truth
without wonder
There’s no avoiding the transformation,
your substance chiming crystalline,
suddenly conductive of the whole
intensity of light,
your hands tingling with power
Once the connection is made,
nothing can be taken from you –
the wholeness of your integrity
renders you unassailable.
You are a gift now,
for you can’t help bestowing
the transformation
everywhere you go.

to ditch the victimhood
and the self justification

it’s worth the humbleness it takes
to toss off how you’ve framed yourself before –

and you’ll feel much more
like how you always sensed
that you could be.

can’t be hidden any longer.
You’ll feel it rising up
more and more each day,
creating the bridge
that closes the gap
and lets all of heaven bloom forth.

the letting go
the end of helplessness
the sudden silent dropping
of all the binding boxes
as contexts fall away like ash

The energy that makes you,
that holds you as a standing wave,
your essence ever moving,
your particles suspended,
can never cease from being what it is
and so can never drop you
The pulsing of the fact of you
continues unobstructed —
no other source exists,
no other impulse
Your pure intention, lightly clad,
is more than match
for any armored machination,
as a pile of dust, however mammoth,
is no match for a breath of wind.
Look how strong you stand,
look how unmovable —
Goliath never stood a chance
against your truth.
